About the fund
The Barakah Ummah Fund began with a simple conviction: if every Muslim in Sierra Leone gave just one Leone every Jummah, the Ummah could build its own wells, schools, and relief — permanently, and without ever touching interest.
We are not a charity that asks loudly once a year. We are an institution built for small, steady, sincere giving — collected through the mobile money you already use, pooled into Shari'ah-governed funds, and spent only with the written approval of the Shura Board.
Why trust us?
Don't. Verify. Every balance, every project, and every disbursement — with receipts — is published on the transparency dashboard, and the totals are reconciled against payment-provider records before publication. Trust that is asked for is fragile; trust that can be checked is not.
